The Find and Replace commands in the Text menu are effected by your preference for find/replace wrapping. Your specify this preference by pulling down the Settings menu and selecting Your Preferences, then double-clicking on "Editor - Find Wrapping".
With Find Wrapping on, searches will "wrap around" the ends of a file. A forward search will not stop at the end of the file, but continue back up to the top and all the way back to the starting point. Similarly, a backwards search is not halted by reaching the top of the file, but continues to the file's end, and back to the starting point. With Find Wrapping off, however, either type of search will stop on encountering one end of the file.
